Tessuti Bartoli is a boutique line of hand silk-screened fabrics printed on a variety of hemp cloths and hemp blends. The scale of the prints and the earthy textures of the ground cloth make Tessuti Bartoli a unique blend of old world elegance and traditional design. The hand silk-screening process makes every printing unique, resulting in each cloth being truly a work of art. The strength of the hemp fibers coupled with the natural resistance to molds makes Tessuti ideal for ocean side or humid locations. Choosing hemp as our grounds cloth yields an ecologically sound product. Compared to its cotton or linen counterparts the plant is fast growing and requires little water
Currently Tessuti Bartoli is represented at Christopher Norman West in Los Angeles, and with Ammond Hickson in Florida. We are investigating showroom locations in Texas, the San Francisco Bay area, and Chicago, as the next phase. We will then proceed to Europe, where a great deal of interest in the collection was generated with Borderline at the Chelsea Design Center in London
In this new phase of Tessuti Bartoli’s life we aim to take the line to the next level. We have streamlined the collection and have just completed the construction of our website, with the line fully represented on the internet. With such large repeats this will make it much easier for clients to fully understand our fabrics.
Recently, Tessuti Bartoli has received additional attention from the commercial sector. Specifically our fabrics can be found in some of our nations finest hotels. The projects include The Belagio in Las Vegas, The Borgota Hotel in Atlantic City, The Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai California, The San Ysidro Inn in Santa Barbara, and Bacara in Santa Barbara for use in their presidential suites.
